If any PC suite is installed, please uninstall it, as it takes up th driver and you may not see it easily in select models like nokia 6070.

if you had made any attempts in past on same PC, please remove, reject and/or uninstall them.

Load the driver from CD then connect cable to USB of PC.

with cable connected to both modem(phone) and PC , your modem is the one device manager will show in port section ( after clicking right on my computer then propereties,
then device manager, where clicking on ports will show CA42 or 53 with respective com seen in modem)

go to control panel

select hardware/modem set up

ad your country and area code if asked for.

click on modem tab.

you should not see any modems, if any please uninstall/remove, they will interfer. ( if u see a cell phone modem or number, it may be correct, but better reinstall it)

click on add modem.

select standard modem.. you will see a list.

select modem 9600 bps from list.

dont click on havbe disc. click only add/or ok button.

it will take you to next page, where it will show COM connections. select any com than com 1 or com2. if u dont see any other com means either cable or phone is not connected properly or PC suite is on.

The exact com that will connect your modem is the one device manager will show in port section ( after clicking right on my computer then propereties,
then device manager, where clicking on ports will show CA42 with respective com seen in modem,)

if both com match , and if gprs and modem is enabled (like airtelgprs.com in access setting as mentioned above in packet data) on your phone, you can connect to internet.

click on connect, leave user name and password blank.

if not working, just restart PC or disconnect cable from cell and reconnect again.
